so we go out back at work and sit on a bench and he says he appreciates how hard ive worked keeping the service department running and doing the multiple jobs i have in the dealership and that he told me he would remember it in the big picture and sceme of things and did a major increase in my monthly bonus and then he says.......

something else i want to ask you, do you want to take an ultra classic on a 5 day trip to a rock festival? he says........i have the tickets and will cover the hotel and we will loan ya an ultra classic to ride to the event (fatboy i own with 18 inch apes and lowed wont work here!) and back all you have to cover is the gas and food and one ticket for the 3 day rock fest for yourself, we have about 2 thousand miles to cover roughly round trip and i was wondering if ya wanna ride to it with me.........

Saturday's Lineup consists of the following bands: Scorpions, Cinderella, Michael Schenker Group, Firehouse, Steelheart, L.A. Guns featuring Tracii Guns, Pretty Boy Floyd, John Corabi and Baton Rouge. Bands on the Festival Stage consists of Better than Ever, Down N Dirty, Dagger, Axeticy, Rising Wind and Gods of Pain.

Sunday's Lineup consists of RATT, Dokken, Lita Ford, Warrant, Slaughter, Lynch Mob, Enuff Z' Nuff, Dirty Penny, Texas Hippie Coalition and Lillian Axe. Bands on the Festival Stage is Bad Things, Pretty Little Suicide, Moto Christ, Star City Meltdown and Better than Ever.

and to add another thing to this being a good year, a guy i loaned some money to paid me back yesterday, and another guy ive helped out alot came and helped me yesteday when i needed him without hesitation, man life is good :D

then spent the afternoon with a high school buddy that lives in tennessee and taught him (kinda) and his daughter how to play drums, his daughter did good enough for me to jump in with some improptu guitar :thumbsup:

then we threw some grub on the grill and chowed down, it was a good day

been 3 years since i rode 10+ hours on a bike, did it alot when we first moved here, looking forward to a few days on the road before the show, probably be dog tired for the ride home after 3 days of rockin

ran the bike through he shop yesterday for a 10k service and front tire and setting it up with a riders backrest

gonna be nice to slip away for a while

heres a video of a few minutes of my ride :)

i went to work to return the bike and inevitably got tied up with **** but while i was gone i let my old dial up connection load this video of me riding down the road at 90 jammin on a tune and hit a bump and decided it was time to get back to the business of riding



at the end of the video when i pulled the camera down it caught the speed dropping to 85 but i slowly moved it back on the video and saw where it came off 90 hehehehehe ya we were doing the .......get gas haul ass get gas haul ass gotta do it in one day so we have tuesday to recoupe......click them miles off and get the heck home
