New addition to the family.

My sons 6th birthday is next week and the wife wanted to get him a dog, cool little german sheperd lab mix, she wants something to protect her as well when walking jogging etc... Matt:D
had him for 4 days and his ears are starting to stand up.

Most loyal dog I ever had was a German Sheppard/Lab mix. He would guard all the neighborhood kids without ever being trained to. He would lay in the yard they were in and wouldn't let any strange dog near them. Just came natural to him.
No disrespect but ya got a damn good lookin' wife!

I had a mix like that years ago, he was a damn awesome dog, very protective too. Great choice!!

I grew up with sheperds and always wanted another one but the wife is scared of dogs, she decided if we got a puppy it may not be so bad raising one, and just today she told me she is already getting attached to him, and no dis-respect on the wife she's a keeper too, I cant wait to take him for a boat ride, I took him for a short swim on the 4th and he swam great, Matt

Stoker, My family owns Honda of Winter Haven and I am the service Manager there, those are the parts bins behind my office, the dog slept from 10pm until 7am today, gotta love that, the first night I got 2 hours sleep from howling etc... Matt:thumbsup:

Beautiful looking family. I have a lab Sheppard mix and I can honestly say he is the best dog I've ever had. I bet your son was pretty happy with that present !!!
