motors a 95 200 xri EFI on a ski boat. im going to have the heads milled to 34cc. will the stock computer compensate for the additional fuel needed? motor is bone stock other than this and the cowl vents opened up. leak down is perfect.

I've cut a zillion Lazzer style injector motor heads with no issues.Just have to stay at or under 145 lbs , 150 lbs cranking in the WRONG weather your toast..

Air Fuel ratio requirement are the same regardless of compression ratio. Compression increase do not increase air flow therefor no additional fuel is required. Now with that cleared up, increased compression will increase combustion temps and richer AFR will cool them. Another word it is more important that the AFR be correct or slightly rich. I am sure you will be ok. I would run a quality injector cleaner thru it and check fuel pressure to be on the safe side. Also look at the plugs before mods for any sign of a lean condition, even better take photos of all the piston tops while the heads are off and post them here or email them to me for evaluation. I would also under prop it when pulling skiers and consider taking 2 deg of timing out of it. Pulling skiers works a motor harder than many people think, you are throttled back, RPMS are down and the fuel mix is leaner under those condition with maximum advance. That sets you up for very high combustion temps.

it runs a 21p high five which seems to be easy to spin up. id like to get up to a 23p high five with some mods. any other good bang for the buck mods similar to head cutting.?
