heres some pics of my hst some of you asked me to post...

ive been working on it for 2 months now

replaced the floor stringers, whole interior, re-rigged it, hydraulic steering,

just need to wire up some gauges... install new jackplate, put new numbers on it, and finish a lil more fiberglass work...

i cant wait to get it wet, this boat was sitting for a long time when i got ahold of it. all the hard work is beginning to pay off.

its going to be the 260,offshore mid,2 hole cle lower, with a setback bracket then a detwiler jackplate... the bracket is adjustable i havent decided on a final setback i will this week. i also did hydraulic steering, and im going to be running a merc chopper 28" for now until i get some money together to try others
the pics in the water were just to make sure i didnt buy a junk motor/lower...

The last itme I saw that boat it was owned by a boat mechanic in Springfield MA. He took good care of it but I lost track of it for more than half a dozen years. The river run is the bomb!!! have been going since 2003 and every year is seems to get bigger. Our small group has a guy with the same rig that you have. Hope to see you there.

I can sympathize with black seats. You can only get away with that up North and even then it is difficult at times.

What prop are you using and what speeds have you seen already?

Have any idea what the bare hull weighs?

No idea what the bare hull weighs... Prop is a DAH Srx 27 and on gps 97.1

Thats very fast for first time out!

Do you have a manual lift or hydraulic?

Is the merc a stock 260?

Looking good, and great numbers. Where are you using it ?

hst714

Hydraulic jackplate, I think it is all stock 260...
I'm using it up in griswold for now I have a place up there so it's nice to set it up and play around.

I've got a 27 DAH SRX on my Grand Sport (used to run it on my HST) and that is probably the best overall prop for that boat. 97.6 is the best I ever got out of my boat with that same prop and I think that was around 8,000 RPM but that was several years ago. The HST needs some rebuilding and I have to get the wet foam out but it will run again some day. Have fun the HST is the best riding boat I have ever had my only complaint was the small cockpit.

Yeah I'm happy with the boat... Came from a vector.

I can't wait to get some more seat time this weekend

By next weekend I should be good to go I need to put some parts on this week so I can really drive the boat safely... I need steering mounted trim and etc...
