Hi guys!
I bought a "new to me" DCB with twin 300x's on it and would like to find an owners manual on the engines. I know there is not a lot of info in those manuals but, my type A personality :nonod: requires me to have one for my records.
Doe's anyone have one they could part with or scan one for me? I ordered one from my dealer six weeks ago and nothing yet, he says he ordered it but because they are 02 motors Mercury has to have it re-printed!
I have a factory 300x shop manual but would also like the owners manual.

Hi Skydog!
Yes this one is a 26 and finally got to take it out this last weekend for three days. Nice boat, lots of room for my family and ride great! But... what a difference between the Drags and the X's! don't get me wrong the fuel mileage is great, but getting out of the hole and the instant acceleration is gone. I suppose I could change props, it currently has Merc 32" four blade cleavers on it but I want to get use to it first, its a much bigger, heavier and completely difference power package.
You have the X's on yours don't you? What kind of hours can we expect from them? any thing I need to be concerned about or watch for? The previous owner had all ready upgraded the shafts and seals in the sports masters but other than that these are new beasts to me.

Keep an eye on those LU seals and keep using good oil...I put 500 hrs on mine, only replaced one trim ram. Other than that, no problems. Not quite as peppy as the old ride is it? Your back will thank you on a crowded day though, mine does.

I hear ya buddy, after to major back surgeries I don't need another. The previous owner put in the one piece shafts and the lakeland marine seal kits in them.
The boat is way comfortable but man what a pig out of the hole, but I expected it would be.
The X's are way too quite, I need to look in to that and see if we can get offshore mid sections.
