Wow! that planter would look great with red roses or galdiolas growing out of it, YT POS. I like the "highly polished heads" and "stroker crank" BS too what a clown.

I ignored the motor statements but wasn't sure about the performance of this hull. Sure looks nice but I'm a sucker for red boats.

I'm no expert as you well know, but I never pay any mind to what "seller" says about the motor, unless of course they say its got a window in it.
I agree w/ ya Fly, I think it's a great "looking" boat! I can see it with that "wrap around" windshield I keep seeing, would look wild!

The YT is a very good performing hull. Not as fast as an STV or Mirage, but it's not supposed to be. I owned a YT, and I was very pleased with it. We had a V-King YT here with a stock 280 on it running 112 on GPS - I know this because it was my GPS that he used. That's very respectable, if you ask me. It's also a very safe hull that's not prone to catching too much air.

I seriously doubt this boat was very well taken care of. I'll have to see if I can get a Tenn buddy to take a peak. Then I can bug Nosub with more slo boat questions:D

Get the spacer yet? The prop was out for delivery that I sent to SC so the spacer should just about be there.

Put 400-500 lbs of driver and passenger in the front seats and see how a YT runs. You are going to have to look around for a sound one though because there aren't very many left that the running surfaces aren't broken or soft on. Christmas trees is a nice idea its kind of late in the year for pretty flowers anyway. Number one reason Hydrostream had to file bankruptcy was the extensive hull warranty issues with the YT and that is right from Popkorns own mouth.

hehe. Man what is wrong with you. You trying to take my title from me:eek: . I worked hard for years. My air saw cam today and I'm cutting up the Stratos next week. Can't wait to see what is in the sponsons. How do you put tunnel extensions in V'ed tunnels?
David
No spacer yet. Probably get here on Monday. No worries. Thanks.
Nosub,
Thanks for the insight. Gotta keep 'em dry inside or all them Streams will rot. Any boat requires a lot of care. I have been lucky with this one. She runs pretty good with a 200 "fish motor".

& just think i am the hi bidder:D
David, I owned a boat just like yours ----SELL IT--DON'T cut it up SELL IT. I'll sell you a NEW CUDA 21 at cost-- about $7,000. brand new 2003 . Will be ready in Feb. OK ok it's known as the BAT boat. Go to By-U-Boys River Racers, and check out the Video of it racing. That boat was first run three days before that race, lost my good prop and lower unit sat at 7:30 am BAM. I did not want to run, because someone was to sell me their XR-6 lower (small case) with 2-1 and I was going to run my 24 ET, well he saw me run on fri. and since I was in the same class (lake racer) as his buddy, he changed his mind.Ha Ha I was PISSED. So I used my old cle, last second got to use one of the By-U-Boyz props NO SET UP TIME and pulled a 6 out of 26. The time I got beat by the STV (that took 4 th) I had NO up trim flat flat flat. If you look at the last part of the race , just when he was comming along side of me stop the frame and watch my boat pop up, I hit the 24v trim at 90+ a little to late. And when I raced C Jordan the high points champ, I took a 1/2 second delay out of my trim computer, BIG mistake. . 239 269 5359. No I'm not new to this board 4 years + just a resurrection.------------PS my weight at the end of the day was 1950lb the boats I ran were about 1830. I can't wait till next year, I am pulling out the JAMS and going to DESIGN a much SLEEKER shorter boat . This one is my euro if you know what I mean.--Family boat.

Hmmm....that midsection and trim looks like a late 70's, maybe early 80's setup....I don't know everything about mercs, but i'm sure thats right.

No way I could never do that. As soon as it stops going faster with changes I might but I doubt it. It's a family boat and I like messing with it but I would like to see some more bat boat pics. I am interested in a race boat.
