More updates this week...

Hi everyone,

This week we're going to be doing more upgrades to improve the forums. I'll change the font color to blue in posts, and see about enlarging it. Also, I'm going to work on additional features and enhancements to give the board more of a similar feel to its previous version.

I still can't do a search. Search "Liberator" under 20ft and over and the newest one is from 2003. Anyone else having this problem? Also, no boat ads before May 12 2010.

Randy, it's being worked on. Patience...
The database we have here is humongous, and it's requires re-indexing several times.

I appreciate the support everyone, as you can see the old home page gone. The new home page is being integrated into the site, and we're going to be importing all previous articles as well as ramping up what's new in the pipeline. In the end, I promise you this will be a far better and more secure setup.

Scott, the search is disabled while I am re-indexing the tables. There are so many posts here that it takes over 24 hours.

Thanks everyone :). Dave, I sure could use that break, I've been running on 2-4 hours of sleep for a month now. We're getting through it though. This update was extremely important, and it's also going to reduce our need for two servers down to one. In the end, it will be far faster and more streamlined.

Thanks Nick, I really appreciate it. :). I'm going to take care of some of the text issues on the board this week. I'll give it a look tonight, if I can.

Greg, the site is really coming along GREAT!!! When I did a search for fast phil I found his old posts faster in the new site than the old one...sometimes I just like looking back at what he used to post. Thanks for all your hard work to make S&F even better!!!!!
