I am considering a boat with 300X sportmaster combo on it. I own a boat with 250HP mercs with CLe's and I like the outboards allot. it has been very good to me.
everyone tells me locally stay away from the 300X sportmaster set up too much torque for a big boat and they break.
Previous owner already replaced one with only 60 HRS on it,
Whats the REAL story. I know I can coun on the S&F guys to give it to me straight or have the FIXES for the short comings of this package.
