my hats off to sam, he has done his homework and has that 3.3 rollin. mr hensley has been at the game a long time and he and sam are making some great runs. jimmy broke a reed saturday and fill #5 with water did not hurt anything except bout 2 1/2 hours changes a new set of reeds, pain in the a$$. The odba was after new members just like sam and myself, i ran 1/4 mile sunday and loved it. i think as the season continues we may see more new faces and some crossovers from 800ft to 1/4 mile and 1/4 to 800. hey even
mr mercury racing has stepped back into the game and is a year sponsor as are alot of others. We, the Odba appreciate every bit of it and hope to continue to grow and provide some good entertainment. All of the 800ft classes are very fast and exciting to watch just as the modified, gas , fuel, lake racer, super stock and green stock. the pro stock boat of larry d ran super stock quite well and was some camera finishes. Hope to see more in t-ville. Later Jay

Jay you are correct. This has been so far the most fun i have had in years. I got back into the racing with the 800ft sand bar events. With those gettin fewer and fewer, what you and the odba have done is give us some place we can mark on our calenders and know that we will have a great time. My hats off to you and the rest of the crew thanks for all your hard work.
And a special thanks to

billy @ performance propellor, he drove from the shop in tn. To the hotel in wetumpka to deliver my prop back to me so i could race on saturday.

To jimmy @ tri county marine, thanks for help last night. For those that dont know i broke my 800ft prop last race(hit somthin) and jimmy steped up and helped me out to get a new one on the way.
