I am doing research for a friend of mine. He owns a 1974 Wriedt Custom Jet boat with a 455 oldsmobile and a berkeley jet drive. I cannot find what the model type is anywhere.
It is 22 feet long. I believe Wriedt went out of business as I cannot locate them anywhere online. If anyone has any information please let me know.

Thanks so much!
Amanda

old rigger got you covered over on PB but I'll post this here for anyone else that finds this thread. I don't think they are building new boats any more but it sounds like it is the same guy.

Hi IloveNYCA

The boat is a Montera made by Wriedt or Wriedt Custom or Wriedtcraft....I have seen all of these names used...I think the most correct is simply Wriedt, these boats were designed and built by a racer named Jerry Wriedt who has a website Wriedtboats.com...
the Montera was built in California until later 70's when everyone left CA for Lake Havasu and other places. Jerry Wriedt built more Monteras near Dallas where they uses Berkeley JE pumps and added a swim platform making it 23 feet overall. Caswell
