 i have a small 16' narrow beam classic aluminum runabout . i think i have the weight distributed evenly, driver (200lbs) 2/3 forward ,batteries and anchors (200lbs) 1/2 , fantail gas and moters(300lbs). i can maintain plane at 14mph (gps) at 0 trim as i increase throttle i need to increase my positve trim. to the edge of slight porpising. is this due to the proper weight distribution at a slower speed ,is not at a higher speed?. or engine height? , proppeller rake ? engine set back needed ?

there are no hooks or rockers on the hull . there is a set of large strakes .could these help me at low speeds and cause me to trim out a high speeds (because of hull drag) ? or do i have my center of gravity all messed up?

You might have to buy one of those hydrofoils. They work good if your engine dosnt sit to far in the water.
