I'm looking for a high performance dealer in the northeast. I've been doodling with some plans to cut down the sides and block the 24 footer that we build..... into a 22 foot outboard model.

I'm looking for some input from a dealer up in the northeast that wants to work with us on this project and help us get into the "smaller boat" market.

We know our way around the offshore side of things, but this is going to be new territory for us..... and we want to work with someone that is respected by the high performance outboard community.

Thanks for your recommendations.

Hi Charlie.

You could try Harry Turner at Obssesion Boat sales. Depending on where in the North East you are looking you know that southern New England boating is a minimum of 24' to enjoy you day. The boats back in the day like the 23' formula (Pier 37) 25' Nova (Dunnington Marine) 24' Banana (you before Port Edgewood) and others. The round the cape race and plymouth international. The 22' would be a good lake / bay boat. Great work keep it up.

There is also Ocean Performance in Old Saybrook, CT www.oceanperformance.com (http://www.oceanperformance.com)

A 22' model would be perfect for CT River, and would work well on calmer days on LI Sound/RI Sound

Why don't you start with a clean sheet of paper, and design & build a much better one? That hull is lacking in too many area's to compete in todays 22' market. Just my .02
