Mike i would go with restricted push rod but i personally wouldnt use adjustable, just because of the extra weight, in my cars with the 455;s ive bent anumber of pushrods, pushing the R's, i would go with a adjustable rocker, and what you running for a cam, have you located all the parts for the jet o vator if not i will send you a parts diagram from an older cp performance catologe that i have , i see the new one doesnt list the parts for the jb pumps

i really dont know what my cam is but the gross lift is just shy of .500 and i also have matching springs and lifters. i also am unsure of what i am missing for my nozzle controls but i believe i am close to having it all. possibly i still need a longer steering tube and a steering cable extension but maybe with some adjustment i can use the pieces i have.also need the seal for the steering bushing.once i get the link from biga i will connect everything i have and see what i come up with.
i really like the idea of restricted pushrods because in my opinion the only issue is the oil in the valve covers and its only avenue is the pushrods.after i found the adjustable ones i called the maker and they assured me they are stronger than stock.they are quite pricey but probably worth it although i remain undecided on the purchase

We have used/selling adjustable push rods as well as rocker pedestal shims for years for Olds non-adjustable valve train with good sucess, quick inexpensive fix for this beast and although a little tough to work with they are an easy way to garner proper lifter preload or clearance in particularly in situatations where head work was improperly done Tom

*resticted pushrods for Olds are easily made by selecting hardened roll pins at your local hardware store and carefully pushing them into one end
