No, it must have the coast guard stamp, and they do not stamp it for free! :D it's got to have CG appoved on it.

the safe part is on my list so i guess i better get it right but i doubt my starter or alternator will be the safe variety

after a little research i still believe the filter element in a k&n marine approved flame arrester is no different than any other filter they sell

i also would like to play dummies advocate and for the sake of debate take the dummy role which i play with ease and skill. so i think the marine uscg approved poop is poop. its a big list of overpriced glorified car parts with little if any difference other than price.carb,fuel pump,flame arrester,distributor,ignition,starter,alternator,fuel tank,fuel hose,spark plugs,instruments,all making build costs soar beyond worst nightmares. i need a stimulus check
