If tya want saltwater or beach, try between sarasota and Naples, like Port Charlotte area, not built up so much and able to get lots.

St Johns is a long river.....should be able to find something.

If you are this way let me know.

You can try Lee and Hendry co for river fronntage and a few islands . River runs through FtMyers and CapeCoral across to the east coast. CapeCoral has a lot of canals that lead to the river but arent that cheap.Land is more afforable up river but ya better hurry its going up in value every year. Paul:cool:

Not overbuilt, virtually zero unemployment, wealthiest city per capita in the country, cultural diversity, a little on the artsy-fartsy side w/ a few limp wristed tree huggin frog lickers around but other than that.......I love it. Besides....Me, BL & Nut are all close by!!! What else could a guy want?

Fell in love with the St. Johns River-what a great area!
Bought a great little house on the waterfront in Astor.
Looking forward to running the old 71 Carlson with the Florida guys!
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP ON THIS!
