Just curious about the increase in speed of 9 mph on a Progression 24 with 300X over the old 300 you referred to at OSO.

I will buy a new 300X in the spring, and I hope for a 3 mph increase over my old 300 (new powerhead though), breaking the 80 mph barrier....

Toffen , the boat with the 300x was not my boat . Mine runs 78 mph , my buddys has a 300 x and he has hit 86.9 on gps. I spin a 25 trophy at 6300 prms with 1.75 gears .He has a 24 trophy with 1.62 gears and spins it at 6900 rpms .
