Went to his website and clicked on the HD bearing carriers and got an error message. Anyone else have this problem? He e mailed me prices; I wonder if one would fit my old lower unit. Its not that I'm worried about the H.P. but the surfacing of the prop has me worried about the stock bearings and the drain plug would be nice!

Good at Jasper, Look nice and clean, quality pieces for sure.

Bobs Machine also makes one if your comparative shopping.

Waynes is 225 and Bobs is 525. Big difference!!!! I need to find out what all is included and whether it will fit my antique 70's disco lower unit. I will have to do a little more research after I shake this head cold/sinus thing thats going around. Deb had it first; she is a teacher and caught and brought it home. At least the kids haven't got it yet. She says they are almost as big a whiners as I am. Whats up with that.
Thanks for the help guys!!!!!

I think someone said a while back that the difference in the Bob's over the others is that it is made out of stainless.

It uses different bearings as well. I'd say it's nearly bulletproof, literally, but may be overkill, especially at that price.

Wayne - you'll make custom HD carriers to fit worn casings? Excellent!

no problem you need to slip 4 shims down the side of the carrier
and tell me the total over size or I will cut it too large and you can custom fit it there if you have some way to turn it down.
which every way you want to it is alright with me.
give me a call if I can answer any ???
