Any gear ratios higher than 1.62? (~1.5)

What happens on outboard cats that run out of prop? Seems 34" is upper limit for outboards, and some hit the limiters with those. Is there 1.5 gears for sportmasters? Never heard anyone mention them???/

I believe that Steckbauer can put Alpha one gearsets in with some kind of mods. They were available in 1.5:1 and 1.3?:1 also.

I know the 3.0 sporty 1.62's are the same as the alpha's can you put the bigger alpha gears in a 3.0 sporty?

Alpha 1.5 and 1.32 change ratio in the top set of gears. Lower gear set is 17/28 which is 1.64
