this is a boat we built in 1985 at rabco , we only built one , it was a pop off of a sanger ally cat , i just found some pictures of it , and thought i would shar them with everybody , pictures suck , but its all i could do ...with my cell phone......the boat was here for about 10 years running around the beaches in the late 80s , then it just dissapeared, i heard it went up north. 20years ago . be cool to know where it is now. it was powered by 2.4s and ran in the low 90s

Hey Hot Shot Merc, I will agree with you. Randy rabe did a lot for high perf boating and was always tring very hard to make things better, faster, and safer.I would hang out as a young teen at his shop and learn all that i could. Thanks to randy(parkers dad) and all the rabco gang I now have a fast boat and al:thumbsup:ways will.

Fact is, Randy Raby probably did more for the "normal" weekend hot boater than all the other boat builders put to gether. Guy always had time to help answer questions, always had just about anything you needed to set-up a new boat when dealers couldn't get it...engines, gearcases, props., etc. I had the privilege of knowing Randy for a very long time, and can say nothing but good things about him. I knew Randy purchaced EVERY MOLD that EVERY BOAT Rabco Powerboats ever built. WAY different than some of the boat builders that these p!ssin contests are about. Skrew-um Park, don't let that D!ck Weed bother you! Mike T.:cheers:

That's horrible. Did you tell him it was a part of your family history?
I also wanted to ask you about the changes made to the Sanger hull. It looks like the whole transom was altered. The Sanger sponson bottoms came back past the motor transom mounting area and the Wild Cat seems to be flush with it.

Parker I wish I had met your dad all his boats are cool I bought an old mod vp hull and it has been yuppified not alot left and more of a project then I wanted. Feel assured that your old boat made one hell of impression on the owner and that is probably why he won't part with it.
