What colour cowling pint/Graphics?

I want to paint my cowl to match my hull for a more custom look. I like the hulls I see whith this done like the venom with the 300 in the pic below. The problem is what colour? White or Yellow or Both? I cant get to crazy with graphics on the hull because of the two tone. Any sugestions as to what ya all think is great. Just the cowl then ill get some new decals from Wildman to contrast. Maybe just an oposite color that says MERC like the Venoms? Doit white and yellow. I would look into getting it "wrapped" like you see them do cars and boats with advertising. The best thing I think you could do it put your face on the back waving at people......:thumbsup:

:D Like by by. Wraped theres a thought? I was figuring white for sure. I dreilled about 16 holes in the cowl for more air. I could high light them with proper sized black bezzels and go Gray with Yellow shadow MERC? I think ill leave my mug out of it.:D I was going to take it to a auto shop were my buddys a great painter to have it done with clear. Ive thought maybe some air brushing for the MERC useing the colors of the boat. Just looking for a new look for a change. Might do the setback to Yellow for that.

The 1 in pic 1 looks real good, but not your colors. Someone way back had a ALL red Mariner w/ Alien cowl posted on here it looked great.
Maybe all matching yellow with MERC to match the color of the Alicesoon decals?
Ask Wildman for ideas he's got an eye for good stuff.

Thanks Bushwacker I like that idea also. My son said that about the Allison decals to. There a gold and silver color Pewter I guess?. Theres a graphic patern on the rear deck I like to incorperate on the cowl to. Hears a pic of it. I wish I could do a better job at photo shop and then I would have some ideas to work with in color on the boat. :iagree: with Rock, it looks great just the way it is, it's a good contrast. If you had a boat like the top pic, then I would carry some of that wild paint over to the cowl, but for yours not having a wild custom paint job..........leave well enough alone (JMO)..........;)

Take off the 225 and efi put a yellow strip to match the boat

Yep...it already matches perfectly. It looks like your boat was designed to match that motor actually. A white hood on a black motor (like the venom) looks goofy IMO....

i could do a design for you on photoshop/paint? have some ideas in mind :) but i would need some side shots of the motor...
