94 mariner 150 hp EFI shtting on plane

i have a 94 mariner magnum EFI 150 hp was cutting out on idle found hose leaking on top of fuel pump fixed this problem replaced fuel filter sprk plgs and primer ball now when i get on plane runs great for about 20 secs then shuts down and wont start for about 30 mins im lost need help

Check the fuel filter on the starboard side. May be saturated with water. Some models had a light that came on if they did. You might also check the air fitting at the top of the vapor canister, could have an air lock. You can bleed it off by pushing it in with the fuel pumps running or the engine idling. Looks like a tire valve. May be a fuel pump shutting off as well. Water will ruin one in a flash. Just not a lot of diagnostics you can do with so little info. Last but not least, may be a bad computer or even a stator..

thanks for the info ill try these things before i fixed the leak on top of the fuel pump it was just idling rough and cutting out sometimes only in idle since then the idling cut out has stopped and it just does it on plane it jumps out of the hole like a jack rabbit planes out and runs about half mile fine then its like something just kills the gas im hoping its not the ECU thanks
