need more power( help

I would like to try a little racing with my 135 optimax on a my boat. what the best way to get more power from this motor. I think I will start with a new ecu. Any one have any recomendatiion beside the computer?

The computer will over ride most anything you do as it controls the timing and fuel supply.These engines require a lot to get by the stock settings. A computerv change will be the quickest route.
