I know this is not a perfect combo, but, with Over through hubs like Hydromotive 26 XOT and TR04 OT. Motor is a 200 XRI I think soft limiters start around 6200 rpms

What is a good idea for blowout speed 85 ish? 90ish?

The lower unit is a 4 hole, with a thick built in torque tab I believe, to I need to a a small rivit on as well??

How do I blunt the nose and what amount, I hear it makes them a little better.

Don't plan on gettering taller props till I get it coned in the future

Almost every one I have talked to says not to run a CLE on an Allison. It is not long enough and will blow out and hook. Most that still run a CLE have it coned.

Ran one with a blow out ring for a long time on a 003 with a stock 200 and all kinds a props without any problems. Don't know what tha speed was but didn't really care. Just knew it was faster than all tha "BRAND" name bass boats. But anymore horsepower (and rpm) than that, had ta go ta one of my other coned case's.............JME

'bout like tha end of your thumb. Used several different files down to a very fine for tha last.

As for tha torque, just drive n see what ya need ta do. Might not hafta do anything...........

Thanks, I think with the 26 I should be fine, putting in a slip calculator, even if the motor turns way past the soft limiter, say 6800, and add 1" pitch for cupping, 27, and 1.87 lower, 8% slip which would be really good comes out to 86 pretty safe right?
Now if I get a 28 which a lot of people run on the 225 promaxs at 6850, that is the 90's and trouble??

How can you tell if there is a blow out ring on it?

Never ran tha PM. Only tha 200, 245 and 260. Never even attempted it with any of tha bigger motors. Now on tha 002 its a different story. Think my 003 was in low ta mid eighties (maybe, probably closer to tha low side) with tha 200. Anything more than that it will probably act more like a stock gearcase. Had 10" setback and 1 1/2" below tha pad with tha stock motor..............
