I'm taking my family to the Keys for spring break we'll be in key largo from Mar27.- April 3. Can't wait it's been awhile since we had a nice vaction should be a great time. Sandbar run anyone??????:cheers:

I'm staying at my dads house in lake surprise subdivsion.

My uncle lives on Eagle, a street away from the ramp there in the middle. My boat is not going to be ready. Maybe we can meet out on the water with buddies stoker.

We plan on going to the sandbar on Sunday the 28th. Saturday will be getting settled in and getting the boats in the water. My dad's place is rented out at the moment and the people leave the day we arrive so we have to wait untill they get it cleaned up and ready for us. Should be in the keys on saturday the 27th around 1ish just in time for lunch at Gilberts.:cheers:

Looking for some recommendations on where to stay in the Keys, this Friday - Tueday, (3/26-3-30) We would like a place that has:
1. A nice clean place with a boat ramp, and dockage.

2. Heated Pool, for the Kids to swim in, (if there is even 1 in the keys!http://ui.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:www.offshoreonly.com/get/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)

3. A place that has access to both sides Atlantic and the Gulf sides.

4. Hopefully a place that is not all the way down in Key West, don't want to have to drive all the way down there, if I can find a nice place further up the keys...

Gilbert's Resort, Key Largo. Right at the north end of Key Largo. No long car ride. Right on the bay, boat ramp, swimming pool, tiki bar, decent rooms and rates. Adams cut (which leads to ocean side) is a five minute boat ride. I believe they have a website but I can't remember the exact address. just Google Gilbert's Key largo.

mean dean stay at marriott key largo very nice place great pool and food plus youre close to key largo cut to get to ocean side .carribean club is great boat ramp also. gilberts is ok but alittle on the lower budget side(older motel needing a re power).

I'll give you a shout when I get down there. I'm gonna gas up and get everything ready tomorrow so on Sunday I can just head down and put the boat in the water.
