Hi Again,I just finished assembling my PM 225.With out the flywheel on it turns smooth as silk, but with the flywheel on it feels like it is rubbing.I can't hear a rub but when turning by hand slowly it hits a snag every 10 degrees or so.I am thinking maybe this is the magnets passing by the coils. It is evenly spaced and seems more aparent when turning slowly.Does this sound right or could there be a problem? Thanks Jim

Those are the flywheel magnets passing by the charging magnets on the stator, what your feeling is normal..

If any doubt, an old machinist trick (I ain't THAT old) to look for contact marks is use a black felt marker, thoroughly ink one surface, assemble the part(s), make a few turns then disassemble and check your ink.

ANY contact will be obvious as a brightness from the ink rubbed off.
