Has anyone run one of these on a Hi-perf. boat yet? I think they are about 100 lbs heavier than a 225 2-stroke..... But just looking at some serious deals that are out there now on these motors. Plus they come with a 6 year warranty, if you buy before 3/31/10!
I would be putting on my 2007 Hydrostream Voyager XT.
Thanks,
Dean

You can get deal on that motor because they are obsolete, the new SHO is replacing it. That motor is basicly the same as the F250. Its a good reliable engine just heavy compared to the SHO.

That explains the great deal I guess, and I figured it was about 110lbs heavier than a 225 2-stroke.
thanks for the input.

****TY ****TY ****TY....is that clear enough?????? Get a 225 SHO, 225HO ETEC, or 225 Sport or Pro XS, I wanted to drive a 225 sport, but it broke the first day at the Bass Cat dealer meeting 2 yrs ago, plus its ugly.....Brannon sorry for being so blunt....
