HELP please

:confused:i have a 1995 mariner 2.5l 175 hp i have been havin some problems with it running about 6 months ago i started havin problems with it acting like it was running out of gas when i get up on slide i took it to the shop and they told me the stator was bad (melted ) their exact words so they changed the stator got it back ran ok but not great so i had the carbs cleaned and set then i changed my fuel selector switch ran worse than when i took it to the shop now i could get up and slide for about a block it would surge like it was running out of gas so i came home rebuilt the fuel pump put new primer bulb and new hoses ( now i used fuel hoses from auto zone and not the stiff grey marine lines.could this be a problem??) went run it same thing jump up and slide and die out about a block while in the water i bypassed the water sep. , and bypassed he selector switch went straight from tank to motor no change still runnin bad does anyone have any ideas of what i can check before takin it back to the shop

Take it to a different shop they don't have the right tools if they are parts changeing.Should be easy to tell if its fuel or electrical.If it not to far Mr.Larry at zuber marine in Larose could fix it.

datz my solution to ya problem....It will be worth ya time to drive to LaRose and git it fix'd!!!....It's about impossible to fix a problem like dat on tha puter...
