I am remodeling a 1980 36' single screw Gibson housboat. Engine room and Engin needs a lot of work....I am installing a double battery system and redoing the Engine wiring....any ideas or cations would be appreciated.
Does anyone have a diagram of a Gibson Engine room wiring set up?

I would recommend a small generator or more than two batteries

:iagree: A pair of 8D's for the house, a 27 for the gen and a 31 for engine only

I had a 26ft launch off a Daring class destroyer, it had four six volt batteries for starting the Detroit diesel. Was a great setup and those batteries would crank on forever.
