Just thinking about buying one, lifeline high performance jacket #160.What do you guys think of this jacket, are they fairly comfortable?Wouldn't wear it unless I'm going fast.

i cant say for sure about the 160 but i can tell you that the 170 is really bulky and rather uncomfortable. I wish i had gotten a 160...

The prices are similar, so I hope more people will respond.160 or 170?

i can almost guarantee that it will come down to a decision of 170 being safer and 160 being more comfortable, assuming the price difference isnt an influence

Well I have one of each the newer 170 and 160 are not that bulky. The 160 is a little more comfortable but when I am running for the big numbers I will wear the 170 for sure.

is far more comfortable and less bulky. It will be fine for the speeds that
Vasseret can attain. Unless you plan to go a lot faster and/or sign up for sanctioned racing, you should buy the pleasure jacket...otherwise you will likely find yourself not wearing the race jacket because it's "uncomfortable".
The pleasure jacket, while clearly not as tough and/or "safe" as the race version, is far better than anything else you can buy.
