First you weld in a set of home made engine mounts

(painted Mercury Phantom Black I might add)

Then you drop in a Chevrolet Gen3 all aluminum corvette engine
(the engine pictured is a iron gen3 engine used just for mock up, the LS1 is on the stand waiting for the heads to go on.)

I'm still working on the header for the drivers side, its a little more challenging because of the brake booster and the steering shaft.

Yes, the power steering is a breeze, AC requires a little more work, but it will stay as well.
