Major Steering Torque

On the COR 2L boat I am running it has a dual cable no feedback system. After the first heat I was wore out. I can baerly controll it going down the strightaways let alone make it turn left. I am thinking a dual cable push/pull system would be better, but I don't know what pn# of a system I should get. I know the Hyd units are better but cost is a big issue for me. What do you guys suggest. I am running a 20' Sleekcraft SST with a 2.7L Suzuki. I know the motor is about 150lbs heavier than the Mer 2L. But it is all we have right now. Years ago the steering systens were rated at motor load, now I just can't figure out the best way to go. Any help would help. I am thinking one of the units that run douw eather side of the boat and one pushes and the other pulls might help. Also if you were going to put a turn/keel fin were would you put it on one of these boats. Inches forward of the transum?
