I have a 1998 225 3.0L stock motor. I had a reed take a dump so I have the injection off. It has a stock 2 butterfly plenum on it now. I have a 4 butterfly plenum off of a 250 3.0L would I gain any performance by changing it out? I intend to do some mods later I was just wondering if I could make it breathe a little better or should I leave it stock.

From what I have seen and read get the 4 hole and a 250 ign and leave the 225 fuel. I believe the fuel is fat on the 225 anyways. The 250 ign will give slightly more timing and a higher rev limiter JMO
