What is the difference between fishing motor coils and the hi-po parts?

Depending on the motor the coils are the same. The differences are in the stator and switchbox. Hi-Per stuff is made to withstand much higher RPM, where a stock part will start to break down.

I know the switch boxes are different. But the stator and trigger are as well?

Avery ,the triggers are the same and so are the coils, you can use the racing stator and switch boxes if you want , but if your not turning over 8000 rpm I dont think youll see any performance gain or loss. Jeff

That's right, the triggers and the coils of the same. But the stater and switch boxes are different on the high performance stuff.
