Running out of prop, 36P with 1.62! Will a set of 1.47 alpha 1 gen 2 gears fit in a Mercury 3.0L sportmaster. Will these gears hold up as well as the stock gears?

1.47 alpha gets that ratio in partial due to the top. 6K with a 36 and those gears at 10 percent slip is over 113MPH I assume this is not the 250 on your bass boat in your profile.

No, different motor on another boat. Sold the bullet and the 250xb.

1.62's. I thought the same things w/the I/O gears until researching it. If you're modding a 300X that means you're at or above 7K.
7K X 36" X 1.62's ?????? Yikes! ;)
