tuner ????

i am getting ready to change the tuner in my 150 xr6 which is on a 20 ft bass boat should i put a bob's tuner in it or as one of my friends suggested install a stock 200 hp tuner thanks you guys are the greatest

I put a 200 tuner on my 135 and ran the tube also (no holes in the mid). I don't know if it made any diff or not I never ran it any other way. I went on the premise that it would add little resonant back pressure to hold the fuel in the cylinder a little better. It seems to be working well. I've been asked how I like my 200 by guys at the dock aftere making a couple of runs but I don't know if that makes it worth spending the money or not.

The Bob's or a stock 200 will work much better than the OEM 150 , you'll never know the difference in the two...Be sure when installing that you clean up any miss matches in the gaskets and cowling pan is so equipted , there is free hidden HP on mating surfaces and gaskets that don't hang into the exhaust flow..Bad fits ( Gaskets and exhaust parts ) will cause a restricter plate effect and can hurt power more that you would/could expect...
