Does anyone know the wiring for this tachometer? (P/N 387666 written on box) This is a 10K tach I intend to use with a newly restored Johnson RS V6
Thanks!

Talked with Racer (Al S.) and he thought this type of tach only required the "gray" trigger connection and ground (no +12V). There is a yellow and a white wire that exit the back of this tach (they are not for a light). Racer could not remember which color was the trigger or ground for sure. This is a 12 pole tach.

Does that transom assembly have through transom trim (cant see any)? What is it called? I have one with through transom trim that looks very familiar.

I have one with a v8 mid cut to 14in with a v6 adapter welded to it and the through transom trim at my house, just havent been home yet to see weather it still has the up down

Kevin,
Was busy, so didn't see your question about the trim. Racer answered anyway. I added this picture that shows the bracket assembly a bit better. I powder coated the LU black, so pictures don't show detail at all. The center pin is the up/down cylinder and there is the thru transom cylinder for tilt. Got to admit that I'm anxious(excited) about getting this motor running. It's by far the meanest outboard I've ever messed with. The real thrill will come when the Molinari is done with this beast on it. We figure the hull is a late 70's Molinari. Look out Vintage!!
