9:00 AM...Monday:
The 225X Pro Max project starts today , using lots of tags and taking LOTS of close up pictures of all this HOP LA added to this engine ... Report to follow as it progresses...At 10:30 AM motor is down to the crank shaft.. Block is mocked after a 240 Sport Jet motor... No cork seal, they use 518 Red Gel at spit case. Injectors are strange to me not Bosch nor Kehien , 5 petal sport jet type reeds. IMO light duty "saw cut" rod top... Weird flywheel instead of having belt pulley on top it on the bottom, IMO bad design , BUT the flywheel is lighter than the normal 40 amp Pro Max cast iron one... Maybe easier on top bearing and crank. Still using the older middle main type bearing to the top ... Bores WERE worn but they were not egged that bad at all , it was even wear is what I'm saying. But still worn .003" over and needs boring .015" ( but motor has 9 seasons of run time)
