K&B use to build outboard nitro motors, i believe there are out of business. They also have gas outboard motors. Are you looking for the boat or the motor?

They also use to have a plastic "motor cover" that you could put over the K&B motors but they were more of a pain then anything. Superboat Steve on here might be able to help you out too

Best in fo is on "International Waters " THE Nitro site easy to join , and "Jims RC Boat Dock " ..The Gas site . Join both and post questions and you will get all the info you need . By the way ..the neat speedmaster lower units dont work ..the skegs are too small and the boats spin out .

The outboards you have pictured With the scale covers and speedmaster lowers are A.M.P.S.(Agnew Model Propulsion System) brand I have a large collection. They are no longer made. They are more of a collectors item now. There are no parts available and you had to be very carefull with them because the gears in the lowers wouldn't take much abuse. They are pretty though. They came on International Hobbies boats. They also had a trim unit that basically had a pushrod coming through the transom so you could adjust the trim while underway with a third channel on the radio. They used K&b, OS, OPS and Picco powerheads there were 3.5 7.5 6.5 and 11cc versions.

Those motors are not fast they are nice if you want a realistic look. This would be pretty quick http://www.hobby-lobby.com/gtx_820_brushless_outboard_motor_rc_boat_accessory_81118_prd1.htm or this for nitro http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBY98&P=7

You can still get K&B motors from MECOA, Model Engine Company of America.
O.S. is a good motor too, about $100 more thn the K&B.
Some of the engines such as the K&B SS are air cooled and should not have a cowl put on them.

The aquacraft outboard in your first post is also sold at Tower Hobbies if you are looking for scale looks it would be a good choice. If you need something larger the graupner GTX800 also is quite realistic looking. They both use bronze gears in the lowers and both can be upgraded to brushless power for speed. If all out speed is what you are after though, A K&B flexshaft type lower would be more economical to maintain. Flexshafts are cheaper than gears. It just all depends what you are trying to do. Best thing you could do to figure out what you need is to spend some time at the forums like r/c universe or international waters.

Here are a few of my outboards, I made the zenoah powered one using a old kanellos outdrive . it has a clutch so the prop disengauges at idle

They have been doing zenoah powered gas outboards since the 90's. Performance international had a perfect scale merc copy. Lawless and g-morty make drives for zens now.

this one will have gears not flex shafts.
also want look like a banana.
the one PI had looked very good, but the thing would not keep the gears in it and lots of plastic.
It was the best looking o/b out there for sure.

Who is making the new one? I know that there have been a few made using MHZ lowers. I have been away from r/c boating a few years since I got bit by the heli bug.
I am familiar with all of the design flaws of the old motors, The performance international had a bad reputation. The zenoah outboard I made that I showed in my earlier post is in fact bolted to one of their 56" tunnels.

These came in singles and twins, and looked a lot more like an outboard than the newer ones. I had a K&B Allyn Sea Fury .049 single on about an 18 inch long wood A/B kneeldown utility. You can see the various models they built:
www.modelenginecollecting.com/Engine-Profiles/K&B-outboard.html
This was in the pre-RC days, so the boat was tethered by a fishing line bridle to a 3/8 inch diameter steel rod that you jammed into the bottom. The tether was about 20 ft long and it would just slowly wind around the steel rod until you ran out of fuel. Lots of fun when I was 10- so I got my first real boat at 11.

and he still is doing people wrong on ebay,or trying to.
that 56" is a good looking hull.
A fellow model boater is working on it now.

I got me a little cheap heli today to fly in the house(air hog havoc)

Watch out the havoc is what hooked me. R/c crack. You are hooked now. I am putting together a raptor 90 now. Look out your next.
Yes I know about performance international. I had to call him every day toward the end to finally get him to lay it up and send it to me. Finally the wife nagged him enough that he sent me my boat. I found out later I was lucky to even get it.

Very lucky is right.
Did ya run the boat?
Was going to get one like it from Bandit boats in canada, but he said they could not get it to turn very fast and stay right side up.
Looking at one now,but its from the same side of the world as the ossi.

Honestly you are better off not to get it if it is a PI. It doesn't handle too well and in my opinion is really too large for single zenoah power. It is laid up light enough but I don't think it is good for anything other than looks. It does not have real crisp corners on the bottom and isn't completely straight. It is nice because it was the first that I know of but nothing even close to the new stuff. BTW , I know it's not just my setup because years ago I talked with others that had them and they were not thrilled either. I think bandit boats were differant . Watch out because I know they made some 1/4 scale tunnels that were plastic . I just can't remember if it was the bandits. Didn't the bandits mount the motor inside and use a Dummy outboard for a strut?

No it was the same hull,PI use to say he splashed his boat.
Am told the Synthar from Holland is a very good boat.
Trying to see if i can get one sent over for a fair price.
