New Decals on 85 Johnson GT150

Hello to all!. New to the forum, was referred to from another forum (BBC Boards) for details. Here is what I have...1985 Hydra Sport VL-475 Bass Boat. Restoring/updating everything, wiring, gauges, pumps ect. I am wanting to re-decal my motor. I just had it freshly painted white. Any suggestions? I have a good friend that can do the job, just need ideas. I was wanting to have the 2.6 liter put on instead of the 150 but from my understanding they were 2 diff motors....Can anyone help me on this?

Do a search in the tech section about these two (2.6xp/gt and 150)
lots of info, different animals, look the same on the outside.
also, this guy has a bunch of decals, can make in different colors/styles too.

Your engine is only 2.4 liters. Just a heads up. Also That mercury engine cover shown in the picture was not done by that guy.....it was done by me the pic is taken on my table.

Paul. That's pretty sweet Merc cowl. I am in the process of sketching out some ideas. I was thinking flames on the sides with Johnson in the middle. in the bottom right corner on each side i was thinkin about having the 2.4 Liter there or on the lower unit itself, kinda like the 2.6GT. On the front and rear of the cowl I was thinking of a "V" made of piston's and rod's with a "6" above the "V". Under that I was thinking GT-150.

Or you can go to a local sign shop that has a digital printer for car and boat wraps.. they can print out what ever you can dream up .. I have a sign shop 1/2 block from my house .. they have done several for me.. I did the basic mock up or the complete design in photoshop he will tweak it here and there and email my the changes if any .. later in the week I have new graphics .. and cheap too .. my last set for a erude v-4 was 30 bucks
