How to delete drop box history

I keep reading that to do this I need to :

click tools
click internet options
go to "general"
click to delete browsing history
then click "yes" or "OK"

This doesn't actually delete anything from My drop box, what other options are there... Thanks..

start->control panel -> internet option -> clear history
restart browser.
