This was Bristol, TN 1983. Divisional race. Two drivers that had a lot of trust in each other. They ran like this for 3 of the 5 laps. 282 is the boat that Jeff Grigg now owns.

was such a smartass. Worked with him in early 80s at Longwood Marine in FL. Bought a couple Merc cleavers from him that he ran in JP, they didn't work for me. He bought my Vandal which Matt Gent (on this board) is now rebuilding. I raced with Meekins for years too. Small world.

circa 1985...me (blue/white Laser/Evinrude), me & Lynn Nichols (driving Rich Blauman's red Laser 15), and me/Gary Schiel (white Allison)...

How yall doing? I recall Bob Weddincamp in your same boat and a big orange Allison running that same way for several laps in Georgetown SC.

We're doing good Larry. I think you and Bob had some of the best races I ever saw, and I've seen more than one. Tell everybody there hello from me.

Don't know if you use BRF, if so I posted a video there of you showing them how it was done in Portsmouth with your 3 cylinder V bottom.
