Need help with boat value

My brother in law tragically passed away dec 20th he had a wife and 8 month old daughter. He had no life insurance and the family needs money the boat is a late 80's 20ft Grady white walk around overnighter. It's on a trailer has a late 80's 150 evinrude that has 0 hrs on a rebuild by outboard barn on long island. Whole package is in decent shape any idea what it's worth???? Were going to wait until spring thank you for any help and please keep the family in your prayers. Chris

Sorry to hear about your loss, If you are looking for a quick sale, it would be best to price it between 5k-7k, Grady's sell here on the Island, usually in any condition, place it in the Long Island Fisherman in the for sale, dont really bother with Craigs List, and also talk to the guys at White Water Marine out in Oakdale on Sunrise and talk to the salesman see if they have anyone looking for that boat and explain to them the situation, they may be sympathetic to it and give you a buyer. Very sorry to hear your loss. Grady Whites retain alot of their value. My brother in law recently sold his grandfathers 1986 18 Grady bowrider with a late 80s merc 135 and got $6000 for it with no trailer. Boat was decent but not in excellent shape. FYI Good luck

I know, my point is dont under sell it. Gradys hold thier value and are still in high demand even the way the economy is. If its in decent condition a walk around cuddy should be worth more than this bowride was. To the right person of course. Again sorry for you loss. Hope it works out.
