HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS,
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT PLEASE? IM AM LOOKING FOR SOME BOATS PLANS THAT DIDNT ARRIVE HEAR ON THE MAYFLOWER. I AM INTERESTED IN FINDING SOME PLANS THAT RESEMBLE A F1 OR SST STYLING BOAT. YES IM AWARE IT WOULD BE CHEAPER AN FASTER TO GET IN THE WATER TO JUST BUY ONE, BUT FOR ME THE CHALLANGE OF BUILDING ONE FOR SELF SATISFACTION IS OVER WELMING ANYONE CAN BUY ONE NOT MANY CAN BUILD ONE. SO IF THERE IS ANYONE HOW HAS OR KNOWS WHERE TO LOOK FOR THESE TYPE OF PLANS IT WOULD BE VERY GREATFUL..
:confused::confused:

They are the enduring, apparently busiest company for plans. Can't say whether they have anything like what you want--may still be many flatbottoms, or tunnels from the 60's, but they may have more modern stuff.

Clark-Craft used to have many high performance plans--again, in the 60's and no idea if they are still in business.

I have built a number of simple plywood boats. I can tell you that, to get many of the little steps and other features of a modern glass pod tunnel in plywood will take a lot of intricate framing and skinning.

Thanks for the responce. I have set of glen-l "tunnel king" plans. They seemed to real old school but if I study some newer boat pictures I'm sure I can modernize the a little for a mmore apealing look. I havnt looked into the other company yet but I will do so. Thanks again, give me a buzz when your up this way sometime." Let it air out but keep the wetside down"

Here's two similar ones, first one is almost 18ft and second one is 15ft 7in. and can be found on the Clark Craft website as the Aquarod 15. These tunnels where based on Molinari & Scotti crafts.
