Just looking at some of the build shots on here and was wondering what everyones preferred setup options were for going driving fast.
Im left foot throttle
Down trim on floor, buttons mounted under a plate which my foot rests on ,so i dont have to search for it .

I really like the side slide Allison set up. For solo use I drive center. But to carry a passenger, I want them beside me so we can talk.
I've driven trim on wheel, floor trim, and lever trim. All are fine. My old Voo Doo was left foot throttle, but right foot throttle is more intuitive.

Rich Martin 018 ....................................................................Thats the way I feel most comfortable, as low as possible,is the key , Now one of my boats has half the trim on the foot rest, I cannot get used to it , and I cannot remember if the foot is up or down , it will be changed to trim up+ down on the steering wheel . But really it depends on the driver to each his own style .

Why left foot throttle?
Left foot throttle works pretty well if you are racing left turns all the time. You can brace yourself in the seat with your right foot and your left foot can modulate the throttle with good fine adjustment control. It does not take much to get used to using the left foot on the throttle.
None of this applies if you use the other foot for trim - but I dont like trim on the floor myself.

I don't want too many things to have to overcompensate for in a crises. :nonod: right foot throttle, left brace, trim somewhere exact, every time. but drags ain't my deal
