Came home today from work and noticed something new in the driveway ( I have two roomates) I know its not quite the scream and fly style but its still cool and another guy on the water trying to squeeze as much speed as he can out of his boat. Scared him quite a few times riding in the back of the stream so he decided for something with a little more size...Baja Outlaw 20'.

We work on one every once in w hile...really cool boat. Runs 60 with the 5.0...handles nice...doesnt take too much trim to make run nice....great in rough water although Id want hydraulic sterring.

Mirage Plus from BBlades would be your best bet

great glad to hear couldnt find to many reviews on the boat. Not to much info on the baja forums due to the small motor. It may have the small motor but it sure rumbles nice...

We don't have to many speed addicts here either, but on the best day we might have as many as 7, but it varies from just me to 3 or 4 most of the time.

Come try out the Pamlico (but mostly) the Tar River.......7 to 15 or 20+ miles of narrow twistin turnin "Jurassic Park" with only a few houses the whole way.

The river goes much further than that, but it starts to get shallow.

The other direction......(the Pamlico River) goes all the way out to the Outer Banks.

Braxton (DBS) was here Wednesday to pick up something he had stored at Dougs. Doug and I were treated to a early Christmas Lunch by him . The invite was also extended by him to swing over to Little Washington. You and I should try to plan a weekend some time for a visit. I'm familure with the area Pamplico/Tar river but that was some years back.

Give me a call wen you can. I'll fill you in.

We ride all winter long, as long as it is 50+ degrees, the sun is out, and the wind isn't blowing to hard....plus no law in the winter.

I here ya John.

Thats what I understand. You guys must be hard core. Are you running thermostats this time of year? Hell the waters over here are so full of trash this time of year (logs, debrie etc). It's just not worth it.

And I'm over the water cops. Those Guys and Gals need to get a life.

I love those boats. I toy'd with one a few summers ago when I had my Larson Senza. We were running about 60. I miss my old Senza too.
