View Full Version : Trophy Plus- Revolution 4
Been trying to find an earlier large hub Trophy. Has anybody used a Revolution 4 compared to the small hub Trophy Plus?

Depends on what boat you have. I have one on our 25' Baja w/ 496 mag and a Bravo, works great. I think they are more suited to larger boats. Never seen one on a light weight outboard.

I ran a 25p rev4 on my boat. The rev4 definately requires a little more hp to spin when compared to a trophy of the same pitch, but it is a nive running prop. Good handling and plenty of bowlift.
Reaction I sent you a PM last week. Did you get it?

Just wondering why you would want a large hub over a small hub. I am running a small hub trophy plus 24p on my 24' twister.
When I ran each of them a few years ago on my 21 Pulsare the large hub prop worked better. Now for my Voyager with 225X I am told the large hub will run a few more MPH.
The old large hub Trophy props had thinner blades and some other mild differences.
The difference on some hulls is more than mild.
The REV4 is made from the same new space-age alloy they use on the 4-blade ET pro, which has also earned a reputation for breaking blades.

good info. I am going to have a couple large plugs ordered for mine because it only came with 2 of the holes with large plugs i ran it this way and it worked fine. but i don't know how much the vent holes really do for you when the V8 has the offshore mid and so much of the exhaust comes out above the water.
But father has to order a couple sets for his new fury prop which i want to try out too and see how that is.
