trim wont go up but will go down or at least pump runs in the down position it is all the way down for storage . swapped relays and still does the same thing. could only find one fuse and it is good take one relay out and the other clicks cant remember left or right relay swap it to the other side no click put the other relay in either position and nothing . does one relay power the other one ? bad relay? thanks for any help you can give

The two relays work together. The up relay sends current to the trim motor and the down relay completes the ground circuit for the system to run - and vice versa

usually if the trim won't operate in one direction, it is the opposite relay that is bad.

Don't overlook a bad trim switch or a problem with the switch wiring if it only works in one direction an not the other

what year is that one? some had three wire motors, some had two wire motors.... either way if the up circuit won't click either relay, then you probably have a bad switch at the control handle.

Sounds like it might be the trim up limit switch, you have a light blue and light blue with a white strip near the relays, follow them down to the switch located in the ctr under the shroud you can plug the two wires to gether to test it. This circuit gets missed a lot, if it does not work from the control or the engine switch and you have replaced the relays most likely this is the problem

They can be disconnected, plug the engine/main harness side together to bypass the switch.
