Here's a remarkable set from a panorama of Atlantic City beach in 1906. Look closely and you can see all sorts of interesting things going on in these photos.

Did you know...

The streets on a Monopoly board are all streets in Atlantic City.

Black and white film was all I had at the time and I was just learning to use a camera :D
AC went from nice to a ghetto in my early lifetime still is, I watched it get built back up, get away from the main streets and your dead meat.
Way back NJ shore towns always were Philly and NY's playground, in the winter they were ghost towns. The casinos were to get NJ out of being broke, that will never happen!

Dang, 103 years gone by... It's easy to see how much things haven't changed, but at the same time We can see how much they have changed.. Looking at something that wasn't staged like a portrait, and with such resolution is like traveling back in time... I love stuff like this, and it makes Me wan't to repair sooo many things gone bad... I think I gonna go listen to the "Cheers" theme song...

Did you notice those SLUTS that were almost showing their knees??

Why I have never!

What is this world coming to?

If you notice, two of our more respectful ladies of this town are giving them the "evil eye", and that should make them see the light.

Or, are they oogleing the "hunks" in the tank top swim suits?
