View Full Version : 2003 F150 heating question
I have a 2003 F150 with the computerized heating panel. I have heat/air coming from defrost when I hit "Defrost". I get air from the dash vents when I hit "Vent". When I hit "floor", heat/air continues to come from either the defroster or the vents. It refuses to come out of the floor vents. A dam isn't opening or a signal not being retrieved by the panel. Anyone ever had this happen or know what the deal is?
Thanks:confused:

Sound like you need a mode sensor( basic # 19e616). Controls the doors for floor, defrost and panel.:) If you want call me at 1-800-839-3673 tomorrow morning; I will ask a tech and see if we have the part in stock and ship it to you. I can sell it to you at 10% over cost plus shipping.:) Chuck

Chuck,
I've got the same problem with mine. (2003 Supercrew) Toes froze all last winter so I guess I should get around to fixin it.
Can you check and see if you have two? Also can you give a clue as to the location in the IP?
Thanks,
Ken
