If there aren't any plugs on the sponsons of a v-king y/t then what did they do to keep water out of them, and other than drilling a hole somewhere is there any way to check them for water?.....thanks

They are foam-filled, and aren't supposed to fill with water. :rolleyes:

I also dont think you will find away to check them unless you cut open a hole to get sight in there..Please read the added link pages of what ive posted its all good reading about the yt's and yes im learning also thanks 2 many from screamandfly..:thumbsup:

thanks for all the info., I hope they used different foam in 87 than what was used in 1980 because when I put a new floor in my 80 viking I found that under the floor on the outsides of the stringers it was completely filled with foam and it was saturated with water, my boat lost a significant amount of weight that day :)
